Edmund Withypool (1510/1513 - 18 May 1582), of Walthamstow, Essex, London and Christchurch Mansion, Ipswich, Suffolk, was an English politician. Withypoll was the eldest son of Paul Withypoll, MP, and his wife Anne née Curzon. He succeeded his father in 1547 and began the building of Christchurch Mansion on previously monastic land at Ipswich acquired by his father. He was elected a Member of Parliament (MP) for Ipswich in 1558. He sat on the bench as a Justice of the Peace for Suffolk form 1561 to his death and was appointed High Sheriff of Suffolk for 1570–71. He married, c. 1535, Elizabeth Hynde. They had twelve sons and seven daughters.
